If you’re looking for a bright and breezy, easy on the ear floor stomper then you’re in the right place.

Setting down the roots of her debut single “Heartbroken” here on EQ is Hollands newest Dutch diva of dance Halliday.

This first effort is confidently assured and everything that a euro banger should be, with tight melodies, the quintessential Dutch techno rave reverb underpinned by a massive chugging bass line and Halliday at the helm delivering skyscraper vocals that glide up and over this story of a love gone cold.

This tale told may come with a chill in the air, but the beats are nothing but the hotness!

Whilst, I’m all for the warehouse party for one themed video, I’m a little perplexed as to why Halliday sports a eye patch.  Is being in love half-blind for her?  Is she a tweakie paying homage to Nadine Hurley from Twin Peaks? or is it that she’s a massive fan of Pete Burns?  No clue! One thing is for sure though, we’ll be spinning her new record, right round baby, right round like a record baby, round, round, round round, since it’s wall to wall, floor to floor pumped with euro stomping beats.
