The inevitable has happened. DYLAN has premiered a new track as a power play at Radio 1’s Future Artists with Jack Saunders. Due to the rapturous response, the track received from the newcomer’s recent run of live dates as a tour support act for Ed Sheeran. Anticipation was at an all-time high for the Dylan, Jake Gosling, Matthew Brettle and Tinashe Fazakerley-penned song “Girl Of Your Dreams” launch.

Since her song “Nineteen” in 2021, Dylan has seen her career in pop take off in a sharp upward curve. She has found her niche and has become quite unstoppable. Touring has played a vast part in her exponential rise. While Dylan’s almost back-to-back tours with Yungblud, Tate McRae, Bastille, and Ed Sheeran indicate, that she is on a fast rise to stardom. The release of “Girl of Your Dreams“, confirms she is indeed on the cusp of breaking out.

“I wrote this song when I was feeling a lot of frustration towards someone who sadly had absolutely no interest in me. We’ve all been there?! ultimately, they hadn’t done anything wrong, so instead of writing a “screw you” song, I wrote a “want me!” song.” Dylan says.

The song has strong pop sensibilities. But in typical Dylan fashion a little bit of her inner rockstar leaps out for this release. She is most likely displaying this side of herself in the video for “Girl Of Your Dreams.” Where we see her breaking into the bedroom of her crush. Throughout the clip, her determination to get noticed is evident. Although, her bid to earn this guy’s attention is impressive. Alas, this time, her advances are not remotely, reciprocated. Nevertheless, if this dude would open his ears to her music. I think he might have a change of heart.

Reminding us how much of a hot pop proposition Dylan has become all tickets for the November 2022 UK tour got an upgrade. Her massive gig at 02 Shepherds Bush for February 2023 is close to selling out.
