It has been quite a chilly November week, hasn’t it? So I thought, the EQ readers might appreciate if I turned the temperature up in the blog a bit. I wanted to share with you, a hot electro-dance track that’s been lighting up dreams of tearing up the dancefloor inside of me. It comes from the Belgian, Afro-American singer-songwriter, Alo Wiza. A newcomer on the euro-dance scene whose career is taking off at a supersonic pace owing to the success of her recent summer release “Diamonds.” She has got plenty more booty-shaking tracks on the boil, her bio states she has written over 120 songs. Her third release “Fabulous” is out today. A hit of high energy and self-confident vibes where she links up with DJ Tranz on production.
Speaking on the inspiration behind the track, Alo Wiza explains – “Fabulous’ is inspired by the powerful energy of the instrumental DJ Tranz produced. It brought me back to happy summers in Ibiza, Mykonos, New York and The Virgin Islands, of crazy open-air parties I enjoyed with my friends and loved ones. And despite disagreements, and all sorts of drama..we’re FABULOUS.”
There is no doubt the enigmatic Florida producer DJ Tranz puts the F in fizz, of this mentos meets soda-pop, dancefloor destroying track. Alo adds plenty of sparkle of her own with her crystal cut self-assured vocals and upbeat, optimistic-driven lyrics. The narrative Alo shares with this song act as a positive mantra to live by “Fabulous” is not just a feeling, it’s a lifestyle!” Watch the music if you need pointers in being “Fabulous.” Send a warning to your neighbours or wait until they go out for work or exercise because you will want to blast this track out a loud volume. This collaboration creates a bar-raising euphoric high, which in turn brings the listener into Alo Wiza’s beautiful sunshine soaked, neon-lit world.
