Bim

It’s safe to say regular readers of EQ will already be aware that we heart Bim owing to the synth-pop duo’s perfectly exquisite catalogue of work to date. For anyone about to experience their first encounter of the Bim kind, we can assuredly promise you that Becky and Tim’s superbly lamenting visions of electronic pop will likely as not leave you endearingly captivated by their overall elegant gorgeousness.

Happy times abound here, as the duo have now completed their second album “Two” and by way of Introduction Bim choose to launch with the gracefully pretty single “My Body My Mind”, which comes suitably accompanied by a skilfully, shot, edited and performed video clip whereby parts of the song performance by Becky have visibly had to have been sung backwards in the first instance, to suit in with the captured reverse motion cinematography filming style. Gotta especially give the girl a pat on the back for coming through impressively on that feat!

What is equally quite completely brilliant though, is that Bim continue to produce such stunning crafting of pop and vox, time and time again. Sure they’ll be plenty more of it to be found upon the forthcoming album “Two”. Which coincidentally, as luck would have it is now exclusively available for pre-order in a choice of format options via bimmusic.com.

Please do see to it that you whisk yourselves over there!
