She goes by the stage name of Foxes, but I think Louisa Rose Allen is more vixen when it comes to the video that she has released for new single “Better Love”. I mean, in the way she’s getting up close and personal under the sheets and into snogging the face off some fortunate fella, all in the name of promoting her new single by way of a storyboard video.
It’s much more a deeper meaning in story to it actually, you just have to watch it!
“Better Love” serves as the official follow-up release to “Body Talk” which dropped earlier this summer and comes in the wake of announcing a new UK fall tour. Which all seems quite an odd thing to be happening since the sophomore album “All I Need” has been re-scheduled to drop next February.
Co-written and featuring the backing vocals from one Dan Smith of Bastille fame, “Better Love” is rousing in spirit and defiant in its nature, which all makes for the sum of a massive sounding pop song.
Somehow Foxes with a chorus of Dan Smith behind her is something quite magnificent and obviously a bolster of a fruitfull cross-promotion opportunity by association.
That aside, it is to be considered as perhaps one of Foxes most emotively strong performances to date, I feel.
