I have really grown to love AlunaGeorge. When I first discovered “Attracting Flies” I was a bit tired of the sad love songs but the production won me over with its laid back hipster vibe. Then I saw this amazing video! Not only does Aluna Francis look fantastic, but the video is incredibly well done. In “Attracting Flies” we see a sexy spin on classic fairy tales like Little Red Riding Hood and Rapunzel. Her producer sidekick George Reid plays the role of Prince Charming saving the day.
“Attracting Flies” is the first single from the long awaited debut album, “Body Music” due out July 1st. Since 2011 we have only heard a taste of what AlunaGeorge has to offer musically. They have been teasing us with bubbling singles, guest appearances and EPs. They recently shared the stage with EQ favorites Disclosure at Heaven nightclub in London pleasing fans with their hit, “White Noise.” I am excited for a full length record from the rising duo and hoping for a feel good summer dance tune soon.
