Reuniting once again with acclaimed director Aube Perrie (“Satellite”, “Music for a Sushi Restaurant”), the collaboration feels like a continuation of a creative partnership that thrives on the fantastical and the unexpected — from mermen to lonely robots. When Aube’s name appears, you know a visually rich experience lies ahead.

True to form, the “Aperture” video leans into ambiguity. Harry and Aube appear to intentionally leave the concept open-ended, inviting viewers to project their own interpretations onto the imagery. It’s beautifully shot, compelling, and by the same token, perhaps most importantly — conversation-starting. In an era where music videos rarely dominate discourse, this one genuinely feels like an event.

Above all, one thing is clear: don’t go into “Aperture” hoping for another “As It Was.” You’ll be sorely disappointed. Instead, approach it with an open mind and patience. Embrace the enveloping soundscapes and immersive atmosphere, that subsequently rewards listeners willing to sit with it, feel it, and let it unfold in its own time.
