It seems like a lot of artists are going all Electroqueer these days!  We are extremely excited that Sophie Ellis-Bextor has re-worked her sound to be a little more electric for her upcoming album ‘Trip The Light Fantastic’ which is rumoured to be released around May featuring collaborations with some of the B52’s and Shelley Poole. ‘Catch You’ is the first single from the album and Sophie looks stunning in this video.  Check out the tattoo!

We always have had an appreciation for Sophie Ellis-Bextor since she burst onto the music scene with Groovejet back in 2000.  She has a certain charming presence about her that we just love.  Her almost commanding, yet polite voice sounds perfect and it’s just something you don’t hear everyday in pop music – all the while she manages to be so elegantly English.  We knew Sophie was something special when we saw her perform at G-A-Y doing her own rendition of Kim Wilde’s ‘Kids In America’

Check out the ‘Catch You’ video below and enjoy the little video vault we prepared for you in case you are new to the Sophie Ellis-Bextor party.
