It looks like Simian Mobile Disco have a great new electro track coming out on 23 July called ‘I Believe’ that did a great job in perking up our electro-inclined ears this morning as we were enjoying our coffee and usual Channel 4 weekend nonsense.  The band’s last single ‘It’s The Beat’ currently is still a firm EQ favourite and has been lingering around in our chart for a few weeks due to it’s infectious samples it borrows from 80’s dance pioneers, Technotronic.

James Ford and Jas Shaw (who previously studied biology and philosophy at Manchester University) certainly seem to be on the right track of making good electronic music as they are blazing through the UK and Europe for the rest of the year on a tight gig schedule to spread their electro disco grooves to as many people as possible.  So if you can, catch them on a gig date and be a believer in Simian Mobile Disco today.
