Adamphil

Well if you’re a long time reader of EQ, you already know about DJ Adamix and if you’ve ever came to one of our EQ Live nights, you probably ended up getting sweaty on the dancefloor to his wicked tunes until the wee hours of the morning.  Adamix will be our resident DJ tonight in the EQ Room at Queen Sound System’s launch.  Your fairy blog mother herself, Raj will be warming up the EQ Room for Adamix starting at midnight too, so make sure you come on down to East Bloc to say hello and have some cocktails with us.

However, new to all of you EQs may be the wonderful and uber cool Phil Marriott from Gaydar who we are really excited to have spinning in the main room for Queen Sound System tonight.  Phil is pretty excited to spin and here is what he had to say about the launch of Queen Sound System onto London’s clubland tonight…

“I’ve been a fan of electronic and indie music since I was a kid, so I was beyond happy when I heard the news that I was invited to play at Queen Sound System. It’s been a long-running gripe with many of my mates (and myself included) that the London gay scene sometimes lacks the sort of club night that promotes decent eclectic, electronic and alternative music. So often it is one dimensional….predictable….soulless. But on the evidence of what is being planned for the launch of Queen Sound System, I think it’s safe to say that the scene is going to be given a good, hard shaking. I’m glad I’m on board for the spring clean.”

You can learn all about Adamix and Phil Marriott after the jump.  Make sure to read about our other DJ’s spinning tonight – Terry Vietheer and James Pople who we featured a few days ago as well!

Queen Sound System will open at 10:30pm tonight at East Bloc in Shoreditch.  We’d love to see your sexy face and all the information about tonight’s launch can be found on our Facebook page!
