When asked about his latest single Galea said, “’Songwriter’ was one of the longest songs I’ve taken to write, and probably now my favourite. It’s taken literally years! I have had so many versions that have had different hooks or vibes and they just didn’t feel right, then finally writing my 1st album, I sat down at my piano and the song just fell into place. The song is all about sharing whatever you have with the most special person in the world.”
