Singer-songwriter Cassa Jackson has steadily caught the attention of pop aficionados. And is raising the stakes further with her stirring pop tracks. (In so much as her impressive resume speaks for itself). High for the points for the singer so far include:
- Earning huge radio support.
- A role guest-starring on CW’s “Pandora” (American science fiction television series).
- She supported JLS in their reunion tour last Nov, (including 4 nights at London’s O2 Arena).
Cassa Jackson is a pop artist very much on the cusp of breaking out. Maybe the new track “Sophie” will be the song that takes off massively for her.
We are pleased to share the first glimpse at the lyric video for Cassa’s new song, “Sophie” today on our blog.
The stunning voice of Cassa has been the focus of some excellent pop efforts, in which she consistently writes relatable, sassy songs about relationships. Her new smash, “Sophie” falls under the same criteria. Taking inspiration from a personal heartbreak. In the new track, she explores what happens after the end of a relationship.
“Writing this song was like therapy for me. It’s very special to me as it’s so personal, and it really helped me make something good out of a bad situation. We’ve all had a “Sophie” in our lives, and I hope this song helps people.” Cassa says
The first time I heard “Sophie,” I was struck by Cassa Jackson’s intimate pop style. (Which I find is similar to FLETCHER, Call Me Loop or Hannah Jane Lewis). Indeed the melodic pop effort is bursting with personality whereupon, the musical stylings make this track impossible to dislike. Aside from impressing the socks off, pop fans and the music media alike. (iHeart Radio nominated her for ‘TikTok Songwriter of the Year‘). When listening to this song, I am extremely excited by it. I’ve been listening to “Sophie” nonstop all day long.
Here is one more thing to keep our excitement levels brewing. Cassa will headline a special show at Omeara London on 30th March 2022. (information HERE).
If you are looking for an essential pop track to sink your teeth into, “Sophie” is a good, song to bop along to from an artist you will want to keep your eye on.
