Say Lou Lou

Arguably the best synth pop effort from the Swedish-Australian sibling beauties of Say Lou Lou; the upcoming release of the shimmering lead single off of the “Everything We Touch” EP is given even more weight by the unveiling of it’s b-side counter-part track entitled “Peppermint”.

In comparison to Say Lou Lou’s primarily floaty synth pop directed melodies “Peppermint” stands out from the pack by design of it’s grandiose orchestrated nature, yet when teamed against the delicately administered vocals, turns out more devastatingly haunting in resonance than ever before.

The sheer cinematic scope of this track alone could award Say Lou Lou a spot on a movie soundtrack. Mindful however, of Say Lou Lou’s own particular fancy for concocting epically dramatic video promo clips accompanying their dreamily enchanting synth pop opus’s, specifically thinking that this ideology is evolved further in this instance than being used on their own productions.
