Woah! It's truly been an unruly day in the EQ mailbox but this electro-pop act called from California has totally took me by surprise and delivered a pop-whopper of a track called "Body To Body" to me that is out of this world.
Just take a listen to their highly hooky, electro-fest below and I think you'll be moving uncontrollably in a matter of about five seconds. As if having one killer of a track isn't enough, Electric Valentine are currently giving away their entire album for free over on their MySpace page so make sure you go check it out – it's in my download queue right now, so the verdict is out on the entire long player, but you can rest assured "Body To Body" will get your juices flowing – in that Parralox meets Sugababes "Get Sexy" / "Hotter" kinda way.
In a statement from the band, they said "We want to get our music out (for free)
to as many people as possible. The goal in this is to get as many
friends, family, faceless strangers on the internet and possible new
fans as we can to download our album."
Update – they have done a cover of Stacey Q's "Two Of Hearts" with UVS – AMAZING – I didn't know that!
