Whoah! That’s the hook from Risqué’s catchy Pedro Almodovar inspired track “Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down”. Huw and Nathalie, a married Welsh and French duo decided to put their mutual love of fetish and electronica together and have come up with the rather fucking brilliant sound that is appropriately titled Risqué.
I can’t tell you how much I am loving this band at the moment. Collaborating with elite edgy heavyweights such as Amanda Lepore, Billy Ray Martin and Cazwell, they have the right combination of sexual titillation and unique electronica that will make even your iPod blush. Their debut album comes over very soon and you’ll fall entranced with the tracks “Push The Button”, “Marilyn” and “I Want Your Number”. This album is one to rush out and download as Risqué is one of EQ’s favourite new bands of the moment – and I don’t say that often.
