Miss thing shares her name with the famous painter and she has a new track called "Better Than Her" which you can listen to right here, right now. It's a little track about well, having one up on your competition and that is probably something that all of us can relate to. It's a nice little pop diddy – I quite enjoyed it so thought I would share. Matisse also used to be in girl band Brit N Alex if you remember who they were.
When asked about growing up and her career in pop, this is what Matisse had to say…
"My family is very musical and I grew up listening to everything from rock and roll, to pop, soul, the blues you name it. I definitely inherited my parent’s love of music, and was influenced by their diverse tastes. Over the years people have tried to make me into something I’m not but I’m not interested in being the next ‘so and so’ or compromising myself to be a one hit wonder. I want to make music that I like and that I can be proud of. I’ve been writing, recording and performing for years now. I’m definitely ready for this."
