Robynhandleme

Take a look at the cute single artwork for Robyn’s fun new song ‘Handle Me’ which comes out 22 October on download and on physical release the following week.  I will say it again, this is one of my favourite songs off of Robyn’s album which you should all go out and buy.  If you haven’t bought it yet, well then you aren’t very EQ are you?

Below is info copied from the press release which describes Robyn’s takeover of the UK music charts pretty accurately if you ask me!  Let’s just keep our fingers crossed that she spends some money from the Konichiwa Records fund and re-does the video!  Robyn, we have some ideas if are interested…hehehe.

"Robyn follows her number one single ‘With Every Heartbeat’ with ‘Handle Me’. ‘Handle Me’ is as feisty as pop songs come; full of hip hop flavored attitude and with a chorus that should be heard across schoolyards for months to come. ‘Handle Me’ is taken from her silver selling, eponymous album ‘Robyn’.

Since the demise of the Spice Girls, ‘girl power’ is perhaps a term that should be used sparingly, but Robyn is it personified. An ass-kicking blond woman, who blasted through the industry bullshit and made startling, profound, honest pop music all of her own. And new single ‘Handle Me’ is just this and more.

Handle Me will be released on CD, 7” and 12” and will be backed by new Robyn tracks and remixes from the likes of Björn Yttling (from Peter, Bjorn and John), Williams, Ortzrocka and Soul Seekers."
