I seem to get asked this question a lot lately…

"Hey Raj – what's floating your music boat this week?"…well, quite a bit of stuff really, so here's a little round-up of what's more HOT than hot on my iPod right now.

Boa – now it seems Mr. MuuMuse premiered this video to "Energetic" awhile back, but somehow I missed it.  It's quite good though.  She's definitely the best thing to come out of Asia don't you think?  Check it out.

Jade Ewen – Little Miss Eurovision went and recorded a hot hot hot electro-pop track called "My Man" that is something that you think Destiny's Child would come back with – proper.  Here's the music video…

Well well well Lolene went and hooked herself up with the sexy Sam Sparro to remix her track "Sexy People" that well, is FAR superior to the original.  Good choice Lolene.  You can hear the original track and remix over on Lolene's MySpace.  Did anyone notice that Sam Sparro went blond too?  Well they say blond's have more fun right?

Thegoodnatured

The Good Natured have been churning out new tracks like hotcakes lately.  Make sure to check out her new tracks "Human Eyes Cry Godly Tears" and "Your Body Is A Machine" on her MySpace.  I can't quite stress how amazing The Good Natured Is.  I've been slipped her tune "I Pray (Sorry Would Suffice)" too and it's SO SO cool.  You should be paying big attention.  She's the new Bat For Lashes if you ask me…

Thenewdevices

Make sure to check out The New Devices.  They are quite good and their track "Everything Good" has been igniting the iPod with a vengance.  They've been getting some major press heat too this week – totally on the cusp…

Finally – Melynk is releasing "The Competition" which features the lead vocals of the haunting and downright awesome of Sara Berg.  Take a listen to it over on Melnyk's MySpace – I've been listenting to it for a LONG time now and am so so happy it's getting a proper release.

Muddyloop

Muddyloop – these guys churn out some sexy funky and soulful electronica.  They have also worked with Dean Lennon in perfecting his futuristic trademark sound that I'm in love with as well.  Check them out on MySpace too…you'll like them – I love them.

EQ faves Ming & Ping have a new self-titled album coming out too which is downright amazing.  I've been listenting to it for about a week now and it's suberb, sublime and lush.  More info can be found on the album and it's stunning artwork on the Ming & Ping website.
