Hey EQs – Here’s what’s brewing in le world of EQ today – Enjoy…

DJ Adamix quite likes this new electro outfit known as the Tito Deville Band.  Check out the sample of Frankie Goes To Hollywood on "Tonight".  I quite like it too and if you take a closer look at Tito’s MySpace photos too, he’s quite the looker…

Discovillains

I’m quite enjoying the Disco Villains rework of 90’s track by Gillette called "Short Dick Man".  It’s quite good and brings back some memories of me being a dancing queen and sweatin the night away in college at a club called Generation X in Providence, Rhode Island.  Make sure you check out the sick beats of Disco Villains over on their MySpace page where you can check out above said track and some other electro stompers.

I’m like the last to comment on this, but despite Christina Aguilera’s blatent attempt to copy Lady Gaga’s whole look, sound and dance moves on the last MTV VMA’s, I quite loved the performance.  Perhaps there is a bit of a rivalry between the two?  Who knows.  After all there are moments on Lady Gaga’s album where she really does sound like Christina – it’s uncanny.  Having said that, I’m going crazy trying to find the studio version of the remix she did for the "Genie In A Bottle" performance.  That remix works me!  Bang bang bang!  If anyone has it – please do share with your fairy blog mother.

Candyshop

With Madonna working her raw sugar hard candy shop lately, she’s seem to have inspired a new pop girl group called quite simply Candy Shop pictured above.  With a penchant for wrapping themselves up in coloured cling film, Candy Shop are looking to take the pop world by storm with their titty shakin tracks "Sex Me Girl" (ohhh, she said "nasty motherfucker" in that song…).  Check out the cheeky "Ooh Ah" where we see the girls pussycat dolling it all over London and Paris looking for their missing knickers.  Class!

And finally, check out this widdle clip of State City Disco performing "Irrestibable" at the last Electroqueer Club Night".  I think that is Charli XCX screaming "pull your trousers down" to Alex Surguy.  Well, he did flash his undies to the audience after all…
