Merry Christmas and Happy Holidaysto you dear readers of EQ.

I just want to say thank you again for another fun-filled year of new pop and electronic music blogging and for allowing me the creative outlet to be part of your musical worlds in 2010.  If it wasn’t for all of you reading EQ on a daily basis, I wouldn’t have the honor of blogging for you – and for that, I am ever-so grateful.  It warms my heart everyday to see all of you hitting the blog and to read your feedback on the social network sites and to see your faces at EQ Live.

2011 is going to be a big year for EQ as we prepare to “move into the next phase” that will hopefully see this little music blog and brand get just a little bit bigger and I look forward to having you all be a part of that.  I’ve let a few people in on what is going to happen and what “the big dream” is and I hope that with reader support, we’ll be able to create it – as it’s something that can’t ignored by the music industry.  It’s a big dream and I hope all of you who read EQ, whether you be music enthusiasts, artists, industry and bloggers alike will want be a part of it.  Stick around, because I’m doing “it” just for you…

So wherever you are today, whatever you are doing, whatever you are celebrating – I wish you all the best and that you’re day is as special as you are.  Keep dreaming and keep fighting for your beliefs and most of all – keep being you.

Here’s a little free download from our friend, the gorgeous Ivri Lider who has put together his annual holiday cover for us.  If you remember, he covered Katy Perry’s “I Kissed A Girl” last year and this year – he’s gone a bit Gaga for us.  And over on EQTraxMandy has a special version of “Little Drummer Boy” by our friend Zac Poor that you must check out and download as well!
