2019, has definitely got off to a flying start for singer-songwriter and producer Lostchild. His first gig of the year was at one of London’s most famous live music venues – the iconic Dingwalls, in support of 80s pop legend Tiffany, no less. The “I Think We’re Alone Now” singer was another exciting name to add to Lostchild’s impressive resume of gigging plaudits, which feature warm-up spots alongside Dragonette, Betty Who and Frankmusik. The evening was also a good opportunity for Lostchild to road test some new tracks for the first time on the crowd of pop appreciating gig-goers made up of Tiffany fans, 80s pop fans and Lostchild supporters, naturally.

The audience responded well to Lostchild’s vibrant set of emotive electronic pop tracks (let’s face it why wouldn’t they?) The talent introduced new songs “Imperfect,” “London” (Where I Want To Die) and upcoming single “Like Like” in addition to well-loved favourites Town and “Heartburn.” In fact, nothing was off-limits in this set, he even showcased his beautiful cover version of “Skin” – which you might remember as a track from Madonna’s critically acclaimed album “Ray of Light.”

Of course, we made sure we had our cameras ready to capture the action. Here is our film clip of him singing his heart out, brilliantly.

I also wanted to tell you about Lostchild’s Indiegogo campaign. He’s set up a crowd funder to help make a beautiful video for his next single “Like Like.” It would be utterly fantastic if he could bring his gorgeous crazy, neon vision to life for this song and work with director Johnny Lochland who has made videos for Bright Light Bright Light. The Indiegogo page has lots of exclusive goodies you can buy to help Lostchild achieve his goal.

A visit to the video set sounds too good to miss, doesn’t it?

You know what to do. Go to it! The Indiegogo page (this link takes you there) is pink and fabulous and what would make it even more so, is your support in any way you can. EQ Music Blog and Lostchild thanks you!
