To say that solo material from ex The wanted boy bander Nathan Sykes hasn’t been hotly anticipated since word got out that Nathan was well into pursuing a solo career, is an understatement if the crazy level of support from The Wanted’s fandom is anything to go by.
When EQ Music casually mentioned on our social media a few weeks ago, that we’d attended a secret showcase whereby Nathan had played us a few tracks from his upcoming album, the reaction that came from the interweb was nothing but resoundingly responsive.
Whilst we can’t share just yet, what we came to know with regard to the album material thus far, prior to the spring release of his first solo single, Nathan himself has just of now flung out taster track “More Than You’ll Ever Know” online and offered it up for FREE DOWNLOAD.
Holy moly, who knew Nathan’s smokey vox and falsetto highs would lend themselves so fittingly to the sound of old skool soul slickness such, as this!
Seriously, “More Than You’ll Ever Know” just brought flooding back to me, memories of that infamous Marvin Gaye vs Nick Kamen scenario. Oh you all know the one I’m referring too! Suffice to say I’m a tad hot now for more of this from Nathan already!
