A few months ago, I was lucky enough to have discovered the sounds of San Diego hip-popster Solomon and ever since then I've been keeping an eye on how his new EP "Shades Of Black" has been developing. Well today, I got to listen to the first sneak peak at the new EP and sound in way of "Break My Heart" that is already up on Solomon's MySpace page.
It's amazing. It's electro-pop with a bit of attitude and I love it. There is also a video of Solomon shooting the album artwork and it's quite cute, set to the sound of "Womanizer" – he's such a little superstar in the making and you should be supporting him. I can't wait to spin "Break My Heart" at EQ@Underbelly next week actually.
Solomon really cracks me up too – if you follow him on Twitter you get to hear all about his misadventures out and about from champagne incidents, album leak dramas and random admirers hoping for a bit of boot-ay with him at the laundromat. EQ is easily entertained as you can tell…
