“Shameless Fashion” by Visage is the only song I have been playing on repeat the past few days. In fact, of my recent song addictions it is the only electronic tune on the list. I am amazed at how classic their production is especially during this new age of synthesizers. In a world where everyone is paying close attention to the bass heavy club anthems, Visage proves that their 80s method hasn’t lost its power. After a 30 year hiatus and the introduction of a new lineup, Visage returns with a familiar new wave sound that is so classic it should only be sold on vinyl or cassette. The new line up consists of Lauren Duvall on vocals, plus Steve Barnacle and Ultravox/Magazine member Robin Simon.

“Shameless Fashion” appears on the band’s latest release, “Hearts and Knives” available now.
