I was only thinking to myself the other day, with summer on the horizon it would be a really good thing if some new XY&O tuneage was to appear.
We don’t even have to wait for new music to happen because just like that, Skip, Tudor and Nick have already deployed the first introductory track of their upcoming sophomore EP “Powder Rooms”.
Just as we have known XY&O for bringing about hazily bathed, pop creations. The trio with their instantly recognised, signature sound trend, pour on the sultry, seductive vibes through the use of shimmery tones and wafts of jangly guitar hooks. It is the soundscape which lends well to fashioning a song about indulging in carnal pleasures. Furthermore it is as always, suitably summery of feel and blissfully filtered as in a sunshine state of mind.
