OK, let’s talk about single covers, specifically Lady Gaga’s new one for “Do What U Want” which features R&B crooner, R Kelly.
It’s a picture of her ass. And, yes, the song is pretty much about having sex and all that – I get it. But still, the “Do What U Want” single cover is pretty much a selfie of Gaga’s ass. I mean 2 Live Crew couldn’t have come up with a better single cover themselves.
Where is the imagination here? Where is the intrigue?
This is not ARTPOP.
But the song – it’s not bad. I like it. I just don’t really want to see Lady Gaga’s ass in my face – even though it’s not a bad ass.
