Did we think the fierce Swedish duo of Icona Pop could get
any fiercer?
Well guess what?
They have achieved it. They have linked in with the vivaciously spirited
one Charli XCX, adding additional vocals on “I Love It”.
The track throws out a chugging melody, splattered with
fizzing synths and whip cracking touches of turbo-boosted energy, alongside a
unified sisterly display of forthright and punchy vocals.
If that wasn’t enough measure of a killer cut in its
original format, those Swedish Icona’s have sort out a selection of hip to
fierce deckhands to flip some mixes out on it.
From searing club banger to contemporary popper to womping
bass laden pop chunks, every mood is catered for and served upon a punchy pop
profused platter of Swedish delicacies.
