Chew Lips

By Mandy Rogers

London band Chew Lips broke onto the scene a couple of years ago brandishing a strikingly accomplished debut album “Unicorn” that spawned a clutch of prime cuts of chrome studded droning disco pop numbers spear-headed by singles “Play Together”, “Slick” and “Karen

The once trio bid a return now as a duo of vocalist Tigs and instrumentalist James Watkins trimmed down by departure of member Will Sanderson.

Since recently sticking out a teaser track of new material in quirky new-wave, peppy alt-pop number “Do You Chew?” the duo unveil the first single proper “Hurricane” from their forthcoming yet to be titled sophomore album, scheduled to drop early next year.

Hurricane” slams down a fortifying slab of invigorating disco pop that combines and retains the plucky fresh Chew Lips signature hallmarks, plumped up in dance flavour by an über juicy bounce of club storming bombastic levelled bass.
