Former girl band try-out Jamila B is a young lady who has much to offer as a solo artist.
Inspired by the likes of Keith Sweat, Marah Carey, Aaliyah, TLC and Robyn the budding Canadian urban pop starlet nails the funk, rap and urban fusion with some confidence.
Jamila B’s latest offering though goes off on a de-tour. Jamila B has become europopped as she collaborates with fledgling Czech electro-house / dance producer DJ Paf.
Whilst DJ Paf looks to his idols of David Guetta, Avicii, RedOne and Dr. Luke for sources of creative inspiration, the result of the team Jamila B / DJ Paf collaboration is of Ibiza house anthem proportions. “Do Without My Love” pumps up the jam on a clubbers party night out, with more than a of a hint of Swedish House Mafia about it.
