It didn’t take newcomer Luna Shadows too long to deliver all that she promised!
The bright eyed emerging pop starlet is really going about making her mark in a most thought-out fashion and clearly with vision on side.
Does it matter, that we don’t know so much about the artist herself? Of course not! The quality of her work output is all the spoken volumes that we need to fully appreciate that she’s out of the gate and on tip top form as she goes about it.
We had our first Luna Shadows encounter with the shimmery rich tones of “Cry Wolf” and boy has Luna now seen her promise through to show the world what she’s made of, by way of this new single “Cherry”.
Served up of a sensual sonic template, Luna raises the bar in all areas with “Cherry”. The lyrical narrative is strong and insightful, revealing perhaps, thoughts that might run through the mind, but be left unsaid when it comes to matters of the heart. Indecisiveness, insanity, the sheer ecstasy and everything that goes inbetween when experiencing the complexities of that crazy little thing called love. It’s all there in candid word form, to hear out the deeply resonating thoughts by power of Luna’s lucidly eloquent, atmospherically arrived vocals.
Refined and thought-out are the go to words on this. A truly significant leap forward from the artist on-the-rise. Leaping over the benchmark already recently set by her previous singles. Luna has really committed to popping her cherry on her third pop outing. We get that. In so much as the thinking, never on a first date, teaser on a second and give out the goods on the third!
The burgeoning pop concern has clearly given out the music goods here, there has been no let up in it actually and there is no going back, only forwards to future greatness for the artist known as Luna Shadows now.
