Fresh from landing on our emerging artist radar with her evocatively engaged debut “Why Start A War”, pop newcomer Hannah Jane Lewis backs up the single with another stellar effort of distinctively primed pop by way of “Bend and Break” the second track to be lifted off of her upcoming EP, arriving this summer.

This time out we hear Hannah going in for a more immersive carried tone of reflection whereby, the clarity of her dreamily commanding vocals transcend above the huge pop hooks and wafting threads of melody like the sun majestically bursting up through the horizon signifying day break hour.

In its hazily piqued ambience though, “Bend and Break” rustles up something of a significant pop ballad aesthetic, albeit done so in a contemporary noted tone with beautified soulful flourishes coming to the fore throughout.

There is a real dynamic of vulnerability in Hannah’s voice which implants a heartening quiver of relatability with the listener, that most of us know all too well when stumbling into the crossroads of a relationship. Hannah sings of being the bigger tower of strength in this impassionedly crafted effort to which she’s directing at her object of affection. Being that it is done so with strokes of eloquence and elegance surely the suitor Hannah is out to bring on-side cannot be anything but charmed by her moving electronic pop overture of snowballed emotional sentiment.

The absolute realness in her voice is stirring up a pot of emotions with us, all of them good because in Hannah Jane Lewis there is resoundingly resplendent form exuding so effortlessly from all that we’ve heard that we quite think upon Hannah as being the cut of mesmerizing to the point of readily spellbinding.
