When I woke up this morning, it seemed like the whole Twitter world was freaking about about the freshly squeezed new single from Róisín Murphy – and with good reason too – the new single is proper amazing.
With the sounds of the 90's seriously making a huge comeback in new music by Alphabeat ("Hole In My Heart"), Waterloo and Lady Gaga ("Alejandro") – it seems Róisín Murphy is leading the pack in her latest drum machine and piano riff stomper in "Momma's Place".
Shoot – even 2 Unlimited are reuniting in time for this resurgence of 90s music. I say "bring it on" – I want to hear more samples and sounds from the likes of 90's legends such as Soul II Soul, Cathy Dennis, Ace Of Base and The Real McCoy!
Anyways – enjoy "Momma's Place" – I can't wait until the HQ and music video comes out!
