The Swedes are not doing it by halves this fall. I have already promised you a winter of widescreen tracks, orchestral arrangements and sonic soundscapes. Frida Sundemo kicks us off on this musical voyage with the release of her international debut album “Flashbacks & Futures“, The Sound Of Arrows will unleash highly anticipated sophomore album “Stay Free“, at the end of the month.
We recently had the pleasure of hosting EQ Music Live Presents – headlined by The Sound Of Arrows, and all in attendance got a good taste of the new album. If we hadn’t already felt the widescreen grandeur of singles “Beautiful Life“, and “In The Shade Of Your Love“, the blissful set Stefan and Oscar gave left us with no doubts that sophomore album “Stay Free“, bursts through the pop frontiers with a bigger and bolder sensorial vastness that knows no abounds.
“Don’t Worry“, is the third single to be lifted from the upcoming album. The song builds on the substantial modern pop influence which is significantly heard, throughout the entirety of “Stay Free“. There is quite a lot of William Orbit / All Saints “Pure Shores”, inspiration on “Don’t Worry“, but don’t worry Stefan and Oscar’s astuteness ensures the track doesn’t sound dated. With string arrangements added, the track escalates in euphoria. The results are phenomenally feel good and uplifting.
