Lily Elise 1

Our Stateside pals maybe entering Season 6 of the reality show The Voice and whilst a new clutch of hopefuls bid to impress upon the star coach line-up for a chance of battling it out to obtain the prestige of ultimately emerging the overall winner, there is now a growing number of contestants that have tried out in that same arena before them.

Jumping right back to the beginning at Season One, Lily Elise a hopeful contestant that was taken on in guidance by Christina Aguliera has been making full use of the platform of opportunity which has subsequently opened up for her, consequently writing, collaborating and recording with other musicians, with her most notable credit to date as a co-writer of the Hungarian Idol winner Gigi Radic’s debut single “Daydream”.

Although, it’s ace to have had a taste of success via penning a hit for a third party it’s triply as ace to shine through on the vocal line on your own accord and now in the production line-up alongside Canadian leading EDM producer Felix Cartal, Lily Elise is about to vocally shine out her debut on their track together “Let It Go”.

Afterall, since this is becoming quite the favoured formula amongst production-heads and emerging talents as of now and having already worked gold for acts like Disclosure and Gorgon City amongst others, a collaboration such as this has already generated a two-fold beneficial scope of appeal.

On “Let It GoCartal’s choppy production technique assists a slow burning vibe which juts out proportionately across the delicate piano pattered strands of melody gluing the production together and creating a perfect platform which fully allows for the expanse of Lily’s R’n’B pop suited vocals to claim rightful recognition front of house.

It isn’t written in stone that all EDM has to be massively dance-centric to be outreachingly striking, “Let It Go” is refreshingly proof of this.
