Kajillionaire has to be one of the most original movies of the year. Deservedly, this film is getting a ton of hype and I’d have to say it’s worth all the amazing 50 cent words you can give it.

Old Dolio’s (Evan Rachel Wood) life is turned upside down when her scamming-off-the-top parents invite the talkative outsider Melanie (played by Gina Rodriguez) to join them on a mad heist they’re planning with the airline baggage claim department. It’s as silly as it sounds – but Kajillionaire is probably my favorite film of the year so far.

Kajillionaire is in theatres now so if you can go see it – do. And it’s worth adding to your digital film collection once it drops on VOD.

Bravo BFI for this brilliant programming this year. With movies like Kajillionaire, the festival never seems to disappoint.

The 64th BFI London Film Festival will be the first ever edition to be widely accessible wherever you are in the UK, with over 50 virtual premieres, free online events and cinema screenings across the land.
