Two of my favourite unsigned acts are competing in this years high profile television show – Orange Unsigned. The popular UK TV show is all about finding the UK’s best new unsigned act. Loads of new talent are competing this year, but there are two very special acts that EQ will be supporting.
Jean are a glam rock group in the vein of Scissor Sisters with an electronic and rock edge that I’ve had the pleasure of seeing live a few times in London. Bursting with energy, pazazz and a commanding stage presence, Jean are ones to watch out for. You may remember Thom Skinner as 4th Child – an act that I big upped on EQ quite awhile ago with his hit song "Now That I Found You". He may have changed his name, but his talents keeps going from strength to strength. His tracks "Pulling On My Heartstrings" and "One Night Stand" are out of this world and electro-tastic.
