I quite like the boys from Monarchy.
Their first release on Neon Gold Records is the double A-side release of electronic gems "Gold In The Fire / Black the Colour Of My Heart". The singles come out this week and to celebrate, the rising electronic duo have decided to let you all have a few remixes to wet your appetite.
I quite like the soft understated appeal of Monarchy. It's not jammin electro, but it's achingly and cosmic cool in a way that makes you crave more. I can only compare it to how Sam Sparro's "Black & Gold" won you over when you first heard it. The boys are definitely on the up-and-up and I'm absolutely loving the whole package right now.
I have been jamming to both tracks for a few weeks now and I highly suggest you go grab them when they hit digitally, or alternatively you can get the vinyl from Pure Groove if vinyl is your choice of audio delight.
