It is always a great feeling to discover a new producer/DJ. Today I have been drooling over the sweet sound of Chicago producer, Rogue Vogue. I listened with high expectations since the Windy City is home to some of the greatest house producers like Derrick Carter and Mark Farina. My ears were more than satisfied after streaming several house mixes via Soundcloud.
Rogue Vogue pays tribute to dance music of the late 80s and early 90s, taking us back to the days of unusual dance moves and simple house beats. Like popular DJs of the 90s his rhythms are packed with pianos, vintage drum kicks and jazzy samples. The new remix of “Girls” by French Horn Rebellion could easily be mistaken for a classic dance tune that once played at Smart Bar in the 90s.
So, practice your best vogue pose, turn the speakers up and let it rip! This one will certainly make you dance.
