I can't tell you how much I love Bertie Blackman. She's got that something special which makes you just want to blast her music at full volume in a quiet library. I'm thrilled to learn that she'll be going on tour with La Roux in March as well – which is great exposure for this musical genius that people are calling "The Aussie Florence".
She's recently released a mini-documentary which covers key songs from her astounding "Secrets And Lies" album and it's definitely one to watch. I love how she explains that new single "Black Cat" is about a thumping nightclub for pussy cats.
