If you are a member of the EQ Facebook group, you got an exclusive invite to the Simon Henwood Book Launch organized by Big Machine Media on Tuesday which featured live DJ sets from the one and only Róisín Murphy and Jodie Harsh – who has a new single coming out. I must add that both divas can really tear up the decks!
The event was held at Vanilla in London and it was a huge success and THE place to be – totally downright fun! It was great to see so many EQs there too! The main highlight of the night for me was meeting one EQ reader from Canada that got the invite whilst he was travelling through London! As a music blogger, it was really nice to meet someone (outside London) who reads EQ regularly.
I got a few minutes to catch up with Róisín and she said "new music is definitley in the works"…tre exciting!
