It’s Freestyle Friday, time to put away your Rihanna and Lady Gaga albums and celebrate one of the most influential forms of early electronic dance music!

This week’s post is dedicated to another MAJOR freestyle girl group who made some huge waves in US Top 40 crossover pop called Exposé. There isn’t a week that goes by that I don’t listen to Exposé’s greatest hits album which boasts the massive hits “Come Go With Me”, “Tell Me Why” and “Point Of No Return”. Exposé could not only belt out a dancefloor firestarters like no other, but they also were quite good at melting your heart with a good pop ballad and there are quite a few of them on their Greatest Hits album like “Seasons Change”, “Let Me Be The One” and “Your Baby Never Looked Good In Blue”.

Exposé still perform as a trio to this day and have a very dedicated fan base, with both the starlets and fans cutting down on the amount of hairspray they used to purchase. If you like a good mixture of dance classics mixed in with some exquisite pop balladry with real instruments like saxophones and guitars, I highly suggest you add Exposé’s Greatest Hits to your collection.

As a teenager Exposé gave me countless hours of self-entertainment locked away in my bedroom dancing my ass to the inner diva inside me…And thank God no one was taping that shit…
