Adorable
flame haired indie pop kiwi, Ruby Frost continues to ignite the excitement in
me. New Zealand cutie Ruby follows up
her smash and much blogger acclaimed “Water To Ice” with an infectious slice of
synth pop amazingness from her debut album “Volition”.
Celebratory
fuzzy synth pop candy that rings out with an exuberant bounce, whilst retaining
an alt-pop stance through Ruby’s angsty and fresh vocal delivery.
“Young”
throws off kilter from it’s “Volition” album companions into the full beaming
pop appeal of mainstream pop, but it’s definitely done so on Ruby’s terms I
think, and shines with fiesty girlie inspirational gusto, whilst being anything but twee.
