This is very very interesting. Watch Alex Clare's new video for "Too Close" and I think you'll find the genius mix of dubstep, electronic groove and old soul vocals are quite the interesting combination. I really wasn't sure if this was going to work when I first started watching the video – but I found myself strangely fascinated with it. Kind like how I was first drawn into "I'm Like A Bird" by Nelly Furtado. You know what I'm talking about here, where the intro draws you in and then you are hooked big time into liking the track – even though it sounds nothing like the intro – I LOVE THAT.
"Too Close" by Alex Clare…too genius if you ask me. I'm going to be keeping an eye on this guy.
