Parralox have just released their new music video to “Supermagic” which sees lead singer Amii take a bottle of jewel-shaped poison to only get later resurrected by her camp friends at the local trannyshack. “Supermagic” is three point five minutes of fun and somewhat a bit of a change for Parralox. I do quite like the song – it’s got a 90s poppy flair to it. It’s not as serious as “Hotter” or “Isn’t It Strange” but nevertheless it’s classic Parralox – drama, costumes and razor sharp visuals in a gorgeous electro-pop package.
“Supermagic” is released on August 27th.
