So here's the follow-up single and video to Jessie J's "Do It Like A Dude" called "Price Tag" featuring B.o.B.

It's ok and the song is cute enough.  But I have to ask the question, Is Jessie J really the Sound Of 2011 though?  In terms of pop, it's a great pop song, it's radio friendly and hummable, but does it push the boundaries?  Does it redefine any musical style?  Does it make you a believer in pop?

For me no – it's just another Katy Perry effort.  But I realize my opinion is in the minority and for many other tastemakers the answer is a resounding yes. 

I think I'll pin my pop dreams on Gaga's new single "Born This Way".  Something tells me it's gonna be as big as "Bad Romance". 

Sorry Jessie J, but it's all a bit mediorce at best for me.
