In such a short time, it seems the Lonsdale Boys Club trio have come a long way, from when I first picked up on them remixing The Collective’s Children In Need single / cover of Massive Attacks “Teardrop” from the end of last year.
The West Londoners have cut loose their own uber funky brand of chirpy pop and have been causing a rightful ole frenzy of excitement recently on tour with Olly Murs.
Debut single “Light Me Up” digs into the summer anthem territory with a kick of a vintage disco chic of Sister Sledge’s “He’s The Greatest Dancer” about it.
It’s quite a perfect summery pop morsel that’s screaming Radio 1 playlist actually!
