A new little gem just arrived in my inbox and I'm so excited to share it with you…
Say hello to Willem. He's already quite the superstar in France where he won their equivalent of Pop Idol with two number one albums – and now Willem has his sights set on international fame with the release of his single "Heartbox" which will be released in the UK on July 3rd.
The album of the same name will follow shortly and it was produced by Steve Anderson and features a duet with a little diva called Kylie Minogue! "Heartbox" also features collaborations with Guy Chambers, Corrine Bailey Rae, Skye and one of my favorite songwriters – Ben's Brother.
I'm hoping that Willem will take off here in the UK as I quite like "Heartbox". It's got a real summer sound that ignites a sense of chill, relaxation and uber cool-groove. It's the sort of album you'd take on the road with you or the soundtrack to those lazy summer poolside days. Let's see what happens for Willem, but I for one am rooting for him.
