Stolian Heights

By Mandy Rogers

To excel in delivering brilliantly formed and understated
electronica that is also of a high calibre and completely attention grabbing at
the same time, requires a certain pedigree of production and performance.

These are attributes that newly formed experimentally
charged electronica trio Stolian Heights have achieved upon their debut
release “Easy On The Eye”.

With production at the fingertips of brothers Jake and Joe,
the siblings masterfully blend delicate ambient elements into an introspective
soundscape that is defined with classy stringed embellishments and sincerely
profound lyrical relevance, brought to life by a wholehearted and darkly
sensual vocal provided by the trio’s front woman Kat.

The smoothness and relaxing nature of “Easy On The Eye
easily fits in, beside the eclectic balance upheld in this genre by the
esteemed company of acts like Massive Attack and Tracey Thorn.

An idealistically simplistic, brilliantly shot and directed
video completes to accompany with breathtaking results.

One not to be dismissed and taken at half measure.
