Typ

Oh how I am OBSESSED with The Young Professionals!

Adding to the fire of my obsession, TYP just released a brand new video for their track "20 Seconds" too which is a worthy follow up to the amazing "D.I.S.C.O." which I still can't get enough of.

I also received this little update on the band and their debut album "9:00 to 17:00, 17:00 to Whenever" which I'm sure you'll be interested in…

TYP release "20 seconds", the new single from their debut album "9:00 to 17:00, 17:00 to Whenever".  The song is a hypnotizing mashup of cool western electro and middle eastern heat, in a nod to the band's unique style and a wink to their regional influence.  TYP hail from a new breed of so called Middle Eastern artists, those well connected and deeply influenced by the sounds and smells of Berlin clubs, New York bars and London Dance Halls.

"9:00 to 17:00, 17:00 to Whenever" is due for international release by end of month, "if all goes as planned…" promises Ivri, one half of the TYP duo along with his partner Johnny Goldstein.  The album sports an original concept, with each track designated to accompany an hour in the day of a Young Professional – from barely awake email check, to morning coffee, a drive to the office, lunch break to dinner, straight through to the bar, club and after-party.

The album intelligently tackles the strife of modern urban existence, the duality of life in the rat race – being in it, loving it and hating it at the same time. Dealing with the high-speed motion and emotions that are the inevitable outcome of The Young Professional lifestyle.

"D.I.S.C.O" TYP's debut single released in the Warner Brothers 2011 dance compilation. The track contains a sample of Ottawan's 80's anthem "D.I.S.C.O"

TYP music is composed and produced by two of the leading artists in the Israeli music scene:
