Seriously "Skeleton Boy" by Friendly Fires is my new favourite song and band – I can't stop listening to this track. I like to think of them as a cross between Robyn and MGMT and it's the type of music Metronomy should be making. Quality stuff.
Nelson Clemente guest blogged on this Aussie electro-pop band Lovers Electric awhile back and I remember thinking they were quite good, but I never got fully stuck in with them. But take a look at this "unofficial" new video for their track "This Could Be" which is poptastic and glittery all the while paying tribute to Fight Club and Flashdance. It's good stuff.
And finally say hello to LMFAO and their new track "I'm In Miami, Trick". These boys are quite nasty actually. The video you see above is the safe for work YouTube version, but if you look around, you'll find a nastier version with gratuitous boobies and butts. For those of you who don't know – LMFAO stands for "Laughing My Fucking Ass Off". Classy! But then again, these guys are all about the fun factor. Naked Twister anyone?
